When Movies Get Trippy

What starts out as a nice classic looking refreshment video suddenly turns horrible wrong. You won’t be seeing this in the theater before the show. It could warp the minds of any child watching it. That’s it for the spoiler, now check it out below.

Knits Going Down

Posted by ryan as Art, Motion

So I just came across this cool musical animation that was created using “over 700 real world knits”. When you think about how easy it is to create this effect in a 3d application and well crafted texture map you have appreciate the soul put into this project. Its the kind of approach I back every time. Even the most cliche ideas will have a touch of originality when approached with a hand crafted approach. Not that I am suggesting the cure for the cliche is a simple approach. I’m just saying that I’ve seen it make the difference at times. A human touch can go a long way, and that ultimately is what you should take away from something as well done as this.
